Belen and Ishmael | Hampstead Pergola couple shoot

When Belle’s Mum in Spain saw these photos from their couple shoot at the Hampstead Pergola, she started to cry because she thought they’d run off and got married! Hidden in the Heath extension and tucked away up an overgrown path the Hampstead Pergola and it’s gardens is a mighty fine place to have an elopement but in this case we’ll call it a practise run!  Belen and Ishmael you are however, under strict instructions not to do the wild thing without me! There is never a bad time to visit the Pergola, half it’s charm is it’s decrepit decadence and eeriness but Autumn is particularly beautiful when the leaves change colour and the shadows are less harsh. Belle unknowingly colour coordinated with nature and her mane of red hair picked out the rust in the maple leaves and acer’s. Ishmael just smouldered! Such a gorgeous couple, very much enjoying life in London and trying not to laugh whilst having portraits taken in one of their favourite and lesser known parts of the city. Then we went for a pint in one of my all time favourite Hampstead pubs and all was well with the world. If you’ve got a favourite haunt in London and fancy passing a couple of hours with me playing gooseberry, then drop me a line and I’ll buy you a pint at the end of it too.
